Mr. Charnwit Khiaonawawongsa, Chief Executive Officer of Skin Laboratory Public Company Limited (SKIN), a Thai beauty product developer and distributor attuned to modern consumers, revealed that the company anticipates its shares will be listed on the mai within this year. SKIN plans to offer 44 million newly issued ordinary shares in its initial public offering (IPO), which will enhance growth potential and create new opportunities for the company in the long term.
mai Listing and IPO Plan
The company benefits from the strong momentum of T-Beauty, which has led consumers to increasingly choose locally made skincare and cosmetics that effectively address their skin concerns. This presents an excellent opportunity for SKIN to drive brand recognition for Skinsista and its new cosmeceutical brand Dermie. By expanding its distribution channels across both online and offline platforms, the company expects to achieve healthy sales growth.
Thai Beauty Market Continues Strong Growth, Bucking Economic Trends
ttb analytics indicates that the value of the cosmetics market in Thailand is projected to continue expanding by 13.3% in 2025 compared to 2024. Furthermore, Statista reveals that in 2025, the Beauty & Personal Care market in Thailand will have a value of 7.15 billion US dollars, or approximately 250 billion baht.
Growth Opportunities for SKIN
These figures highlight that Thailand’s skincare and cosmetics market continues to grow robustly despite an economic slowdown. Confidence in the T-Beauty trend has significantly boosted the growth of beauty brands, creating substantial opportunities for Skinsista and Dermie. The company plans to roll out new products aligned with market trends while also enhancing existing product lines to meet consumer demand for solutions that effectively address specific skin concerns alongside skin nourishment.
“Amidst the T-Beauty trend that has encouraged consumers to use more Thai brands, SKIN is fully capitalizing on this opportunity. We have plans to launch new products that comprehensively meet consumer needs and to expand our distribution channels both online and offline. We expect this to drive continuous sales growth for Skinsista and Dermie across all segments. In the second half of the year, the company aims to launch at least 10 new SKUs in both skincare and cosmetics to create diversity, increase consumer access, and lead the company towards sustainable growth.”
SKIN generates revenue from five product groups under the Skinsista and Dermie brands: 1. Facial serums, 2. Sunscreens, 3. Facial creams, 4. Facial cleansers, and 5. Other products, such as cosmetics.
